Eighth Xiangxiong Cultural and Tourism Festival Opened in Ali, Tibet

On August 21st, the 8th Xiangxiong Cultural Tourism Festival of Tibet Ali Region with the theme of "Marvelous Xiangxiong Ancient Rhythm - Beautiful Heavenly Ali" was opened in Shiquanhe Stadium.

The eighth Xiangxiong Culture and Tourism Festival lasts for 7 days, and will organize 19 series of cultural and tourism activities, such as Xiangxiong Culture Seminar, Gaer Chachen Horse Race + Folk Sports Activity, Thematic Concert, Investment Signing Meeting, Theme Exhibition and so on.

At the opening ceremony, the wonderful large-scale folk dance performance presented a cultural and visual feast for guests from all over the world. The performance was divided into four chapters, namely, Ancient Rhythm, Poetic Tiny Light, Classical Torch and Splendid Times, which showed the spirit of all the people of Ali and the unique charm of Ali.

It is understood that the Ali region will set the current Xiangxiong Culture and Tourism Festival as a platform to strengthen cooperation and exchanges externally, to create Ali culture, enhance the value and influence of Ali culture and tourism brand; internally to promote the integration of culture and tourism development, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in investment, a new growth on the total number of tourists received and the total income of the tourism, and fully promote the Ali culture and tourism industry to achieve high-quality development.

It is understood that Ali has a long history and magnificent culture, is the birthplace of Tibet early Xiangxiong civilization. Xiangxiong Cultural Tourism Festival is the activity that has local historical and cultural tradition, and tourism style characteristics in Ali region, which has been successfully held for 7 sessions.
