On September 26th, president Xi Jinping sent a congratulation letter to the 2021 World Internet Conference•Wuzhen Summit.
Xi Jinping said that new belief, business and mode of digital technology was integrated into all fields and the whole process of people’s economy, politics, culture, society and ecological civilization in all aspects. Currently, the pandemic and the changes in the world unoccured in a century happened together, the international was in urgent need to work together to seize opportunities, overcome challenges and go with the tendency that things were more and more often to be based on information, internet, intelligence and digital technology.
Xi Jinping stressed that China was willing to work with every country to shoulder the historical responsibility of seeking progress for people; to stimulate the vitality of the digital economy; to enhance the effectiveness of the e-governance; to optimize the environment of the digital society; to construct a digital cooperation structure; to solidify the protection for digital protection; to work for the welfare of people in every country through digital civilization and to push the construction of a human community with a shared fate.
2021 World Internet Conference•Wuzhen Summit started in Wuzhen county of Tongxiang city in Zhangjiang province on September 26th. The theme was “towards a new era of digital civilization--building a community with a shared future in cyberspace”. The conference was jointly held by Cyberspace Administration of China and Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government.
