In the afternoon of July 1^st, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held an enlarged conference for the leading party group to learn the spirit of the important speech delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping on the conference to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Hu Heping, minister and the secretary of leading party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended and spoke on the conference. Those attended and speaking during the conference were Li Qun, Zhang Xu, Wang Xudong, La Yifan, Quan Jiang, Rao Quan and Wang Xiaofeng, all of whom were members of the leading party group of the ministry. Wang Chunfa, curator of National Museum of China, also spoke in the conference.

    It’s said in the conference that to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the CPC, the general secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech in which he reviewed the past and looked into the future, summarizing the great achievement achieved by Chinese under the guidance of the CPC in the last 100 years. He listed requirement to create a future with experience learned in the history, so as to reveal the law with the help of the history and tell the future while have a clear understanding of the current era. The general secretary prepared words for young people and a call for CPC members, both of which were encouraging message. His speech was visionary and had profound thoughts and rich content. It’s a combination of lessons learned from theory, history and reality, so it’s visionary guidance and strategy with rich thoughts with Maxism ideas, pointing the right direction for China on an important occasion of the 100^th anniversary.

    It’s stressed in the conference that we needed to have a thorough understanding of the achievement of Chinese under the guidance of CPC in the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation. We must have a clear understanding that CPC’s leadership was the most essential feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era; the biggest advantage of socialism; the basis of the CPC and China and the interest and fate of nationalities of China. We needed to know that Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with China's characteristics for a new era was a combination of basic principles of Marxism, China’s condition and outstanding traditional Chinese culture. It’s the Marxism for China in this era and for the 21^st Century. We needed the political merit formed in the process to build a strong party and the spiritual. We needed to realize people’s dream to have a good life, to seek more glorious duty for party and for people and to build a socialist countries with strong culture.

    It’s demanded in the conference, the spirit of the important speech delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping on the conference to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China should be seen as the most important study content for the second phrase of the party history education. We needed to pay attention and act for the study and training. Learners needed to combine the knowledge and the implementation to show the study result in the reform and development of culture and tourism. The speech was a guidance to do the relating work to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The performance “The Great Journey” was an important event to celebrate the anniversary. Through concerted effort, it was a great success. We must do the following work well to let it have more influence. There were also other works like the outstanding art creation project for the 100^th anniversary, theme art creation project and the promotion of the 100 outstanding routes for revolutionary tourism. We needed to make full use of revolutionary tourism resource to let it have more effect in the party history education.

    Attendees included people in charge of bureaus and departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, people responsible for discipline inspection and supervision team stationed in the ministry and main people in charge of branch departments.

    In the morning, some CPC representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism attended the conference to mark the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Cadres and members of ministries and departments watched the live broadcast of the conference.
