On June 25^th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held a commendation conference to award titles of National Outstanding CPC Members, National Outstanding Party Workers of the CPC and National Advanced Primary Party Organizations. Hu Heping, minister and secretary of the leading party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Li Qun, vice minister and member of the leading party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, hosted the conference and announced the decision to award titles. Other members attending the conference included Zhang Xu, Wang Xudong, La Yifan, Du Jiang and Rao Quan. In the conference, Hu Heping led newly-admitted party member to take the admission oath. Leading party group members presented the metals and certificates to National Outstanding CPC Members, National Outstanding Party Workers of the CPC and National Advanced Primary Party Organizations of the central government and state organs as well as their counterparts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

    On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hu Heping expressed his congratulation to awarded individuals, primary party organizations and newly-admitted CPC members. He stressed that the CPC Central Committee awarded these three titles at the year of the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, which could show that the Central Committee with Xi Jinping as it’s core attached great importance to CPC’s construction and cared CPC’s cadres. Party organizations and cadres needed to see awarded individuals and collectives as examples from which we should learn. We also needed to have action to illustrate the quality of the CPC in a new era and to add more glory to the party. The past 100 years of the party was a history of realizing the mission and aspiration, of building a foundation thorough hard work and of creating a glorious future. He advocated that CPC members should learn from advanced examples, improve political stance and stand firm in support of our ideals; bear the mission and original aspiration in mind and carry out our responsibilities; do ordinary work well without caring about our own interest and be strict about ourselves and maintain the nature of the CPC. Individuals and collectives receiving the medals should do more to be a good example and make new achievements.

    Hu Heping stressed that the education of party history was a major political task in the whole year. Party organization of every level of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism should continue to make effort to implement plans and requirements of the CPC Central Committee and promote the education of the party history. We needed to study Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Party members should study the important speeches about the party history and it’s education delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping. Relating departments should organize all events to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC; teach party history in party lectures; hold party organization meetings based on certain themes; organize practical activities called “do real work for people” as well as organize the promotion and education of “always follow the CPC” and of “the history of the party, the People’s Republic of China, the reform and opening up and the development of the socialism”. 　　

    In the election of the central government and the state organs, in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 8 people were selected as Outstanding CPC Members; 6 people were selected as Outstanding Party Workers of the CPC and 6 collectives as Advanced Primary Party Organizations. In the election carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 109 people were elected as Outstanding CPC Members; 23 people were selected as Outstanding Party Workers of the CPC and 22 collectives as Advanced Primary Party Organizations. In the conference, 6 awarded representatives and 2 new CPC members delivered speeches.

    More than 600 people attended the conference, including representatives of CPC members, and people in charge of bureaus, departments and subordinate institutes of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
