In the morning of the June 24th, Wang Yi, foreign affairs minister and state councilor, invited envoys to China and international organizations’ representatives in China to visit “ ‘Remember the Mission and the Original Aspiration’ --the Exhibition of the History of the Communist Party of China”.
Wang Yi said that to understand China, you needed to understand the Communist Party of China first, because without the CPC, there’s no People’s Republic of China, thus no great achievement of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics. The exhibition was an introduction of CPC’s unusual journey as well as it’s historical, theoretical and social logic in the last century. He believed that after this visit, you would have a direct and through understanding of why Chinese history and people chose the CPC, the socialist path with Chinese characteristics and an independent foreign policy of peace.
Wang Yi stressed that the CPC had been a party struggling for people’s progress. At a new historical starting point, we would work with other countries to spend continual effort to construct a community for mankind with a shared future.
More than 100 envoys to China and international organization’s representatives in China visited the exhibition. Envoys expressed their congratulations to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of China and their wishes to develop their bilateral relationship with China.
Other attendees included military attaches in China and business counselors.
