A beautiful dance accompanied by string instruments led listeners back to the Peach Garden appearing only in dreams. On May 19^th, the Hunan Province Promotion of the 2020 China Tourism Day and the 2020 Taohuayuan Cultural Tourism Festival started in wonderful scenic sight of Chinese Peach Garden. The organizing committee invited citizens to visit the Peach Garden in the Hunan province and to embrace a healthy life style. Wu Guiying, vice governor of Hunan Province, attended and announced the opening.

    At the opening ceremony, 10 institutions, including Chinese Peach Garden Scenic Site, were awarded as the “ten cultural and tourism landmarks for Hunan province in 2019”. The government in the province initiated a shopping festival for intangible cultural heritage. Through live commerce, it helped many inheritors, workshops and enterprises to overcome the impact of the pandemic and helped their production to recover. The volunteer service team took a silk banner and an oath to start a new fashion of tourism with high moral standard.

    At the event, the Peach Garden Scenic Site started a series of events, including the exhibition of colorful intangible cultural heritage and the taste of folk dishes. The authority released various consumption coupons worth 5 million yuan to be spent in catering industry, boat renting, custom industry and so on. “Money” was given back to tourists. Government officials of 14 cities and prefectures in Hunan province were gathered in the Peach Garden to show visitors cultural and tourism resources and landmarks of different places, so as to invite citizens to be a part of the cultural and tourism event of Hunan province.

    This year’s May 19^th was the 10^th China Tourism Day. Provincial cultural and tourism department followed the requirement to prevent and control the pandemic when it carried out the promotion for the tourism day in the tourism management area of the Peach Garden. 5 tourism ideas were being established, including booking trip, ecological trip, healthy trip, quality trip and trip with high moral standards, which would shape Hunan to be a destination that was “green, healthy, safe and with high moral standards” and thusly helped it’s tourism to recover.
