On June 24^th, Huang Kunming, minister of Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and Member of Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee, inspects and celebrates the establishment of the press center for the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. He stresses that relating departments should make full use of the press center’s planning and coordination effect. It’s stuff members should offer services warmly, organize carefully and guarantee safety to provide high-quality and effective media service and to create a favorable atmosphere to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

    Huang Kunming visits reception hall of journalists, Media Convergence experience room, foreign communication exhibition platform, press conference hall and other areas. He asks and gets a clear understanding of Press Center’s setting and function and give approval to it’s preparation.

    He also says that attention is paid to the celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, including that from the CPC, China and even the whole world. We need to gather superior resources; pursue best quality; present the whole celebration from all aspects; spend effort to illustrate the spirit of important speeches of the general secretary Xi Jinping delivered during the celebration; show the glorious journey, great achievement and historic contribution of the CPC in the past 100 years; tell the stories of CPC well and guide cadres and the masses to follow the CPC and create new glorious achievements with concerted effort. In terms of our work, we need to take into consideration reporting demand of different media from home and abroad; enhance personalized service; organize well activities like news conference and collective interview; pay attention to details of service and support works; build and make good use of press center and new media platform; transform the press center into a warm “journalists’ home” and enable journalists to be full of energy when they report the celebration.
