The Eleventh China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Minister’s Meeting is held in Incheon

On August 30th, the Eleventh China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Minister’s Meeting was held in Incheon, cultural city of East Asia. Luo Shugang, Chinese minister of Culture and Tourism, and his South Korean and Japanese counterparts Park Yang-woo and Masahiko Shibayama attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Qiu Guohong, Chinese ambassador to South Korea, and Yasumasa Nagamine, Japanese ambassador to South Korea, were also present. 

During the meeting, the three ministers reviewed the achievements made since the tenth meeting, and exchanged views on further deepening practical cooperation in the future. After the meeting, they signed the Eleventh Incheon Declaration of China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Minister’s Meeting. Meanwhile, the meeting also granted the honor of Cultural Cities of East Asia 2020 to Yangzhou in China, Suncheon-si in South Korea and kyushu in Japan. Besides, the bilateral meetings between China and South and China and Japan, as well as China-Japan-South Korea art festival, were also held during the event. 
The China-Japan-ROK Cultural Ministers’ Meeting, as an important mechanism for coordination between governments, offers a good platform for the three ministers to exchange views on a regular basis. With the joint efforts of China, Japan and South Korea, the previous meetings help enhance cultural exchanges and cooperation among the three parties. The eleventh meeting will continue to advance proactive cooperation in culture.
