The 2025 Beijing Culture Forum opened in Beijing on September 23rd. Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and minister of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee, attended and delivered a keynote speech. Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, attended and delivered a speech.

At present, the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is developing in depth. Promoting the deep integration of culture and technology is conducive to promoting changes in aspects such as the content of cultural production and the way of dissemination, and enhancing the breadth and depth of cultural innovation.

Chinese and foreign guests stated that it is necessary to grasp the direction of the integrated development of culture and technology, adhere to value guidance, demand orientation, and long-term perspective, and ensure that technology always serves cultural inheritance and innovation as well as people's spiritual and cultural life. We should apply new technologies and means to enhance the capacity and level of cultural heritage protection and inheritance, and better contribute to the continuous inheritance of historical and cultural traditions. We should comprehensively empower cultural creation, production and dissemination, strengthen the construction of cultural digital infrastructure, and continuously expand the digital production of cultural products. We should effectively promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, build more online platforms for cultural exchange and sharing, enable people at home and abroad to better understand and appreciate each other's excellent cultures, and enable cultural and technological innovation to better benefit mankind.

The 2025 Beijing Culture Forum, with the theme of "Integrated Development of Culture and Technology", is jointly hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. More than 800 guests from 58 countries and regions attended the forum.
