On November 15th, China Fine Arts World Tour of f“Young Artists” kicked off in China Cultural Center in Stockholm where oil paintings and Chinese paintings from 19 Chinese young artists were displayed.
The exhibition, co-hosted by China Cultural Center in Stockholm and Network Center of International Cultural Exchange(NICE), will endure until December 14th. Nearly 200 guests and audience including Liu Hongge, vice director of NICE and Pu Zhengdong, cultural counsellor of Chinese Embassy to Sweden and vice director of China Cultural Center, attended the opening ceremony.
“This exhibition presents the history of exploration and development of Chinese art since reform and opening-up to Swedish audience. It also reflects artists’ observation and praises for social life and demonstrates its reform and innovation in artistic expression and convictions.” noted Liu Hongge in his speech
Artworks on display gained so much praises among guests that Anders Nealon, curator of Stockholm Museum, spoke highly of it as museum-level exhibition
Besides, contemporary artwork exhibition named as “Aurora”, which was held by China Cultural Center, was the first cooperation between College of Fine Arts of East China Normal University and College of Fine Arts of Royal University. Two colleges will further develop exchanges and cooperation in education.
