On October 21, the 4th Forum on Hotspots and Trends of Culture and Technology Integration organized by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of Jiangsu Province and the People’s Government of Nanjing Sub-provincial City and hosted by Cultural Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World with the theme of “Building the Soul with Culture, Sharing the Progress of Digital Intelligence” opened in Nanjing City. Mr. Liu Yuzhu, former member of the Leading Party Member’s Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, Mr. Gao Shusheng, Deputy Director of the Cultural Reform Office of the Central Publicity Department of CPC and Level 1 Bureau Rank Official, Mr. Xu Chaoqian, Deputy Director of the Department of High and New Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and leaders of Cultural Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World attended the forum.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Chen Yong, member of the Standing Committee and the Director of Publicity of the Nanjing Party Committee, welcomed guests to participate in the only Culture and Technology Integration Exhibition Achievement Fair in China, and detailed Nanjing’s achievements in culture and technology in recent years. Mr. Xu Chaoqian, Deputy Director of the Department of High and New Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, delivered a speech on the achievements of supporting cultural development with technology. Mr. Liu Yuzhu, former member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, delivered a keynote speech on the role of digital technology in assisting cultural heritage protection. Mr. Gao Shusheng, Deputy Director of the Cultural Reform Office of the Central Publicity Department of CPC and Level 1 Bureau Rank Official, delivered a keynote speech on the digitization strategy of national culture and the cultural big data assumption. Professor Fei Jun of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Ms. Han Jing, Vice President of Qianfang Technology, and Mr. Yao Xiangjun, Executive Vice President of BOE Technology Group, delivered engaging keynote speeches. At the forum, Mr. Song Yangyang, Deputy Director of the Creative Industry Technology Research Institute at Renmin University of China, released and interpreted the 2021 Report on the Study of China’s Culture and Technology Integration Development Strategy, held a roundtable discussion on the topic of “Opportunities and Challenges for the Future Development of Cultural Digitization” and announced the founding of the Creative Industry Technology Research Institute.
