In the day's activities, the guests watched the “Yellow River meets the sea” Shandong Culture and Tourism Photo Exhibition, and participated in the tea culture performance, on-site incense making, intangible heritage display experience and other activities, closely experienced the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Shandong Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Minister of Propaganda Department Bai Yugang gave a speech in the day of the activities, and introduced to the guests the overview of Shandong. He said that this year is the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Spain, is also the Culture and Tourism Year of China and Spain, I hope to take this opportunity to jointly write a new chapter of interaction and exchange between the two countries.

Speaking at the event, Maggi Castelletorte, an official of the Spanish Tourist Board, said that the prosperity of the tourism industry is the result of the conclusion of friendly relations between different peoples, and he believed that a number of important cultural and tourism events to be held in 2023 will further strengthen the friendship between Spain and China.
On the promotion, Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and Spain's Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Shandong Museum and Lazaro Galdiano Museum separately signed cooperation agreements.
