On July 11th, Minister of Ministry of Culture and Tourism Hu Heping met with Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to China, H.E.Ms.Aktilek Musaeva and Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E.Mr.Farhod Ariziev respectively in Beijing. 

Hu Heping said at the meeting with Ms.Aktilek Musaeva that China and Kyrgyzstan are friendly neighbors and have had smooth exchanges and cooperation in all areas. In May this year, President Sadyr Zhaparov paid a state visit to China and attended the China-Central Asia Summit. President Xi Jinping had an important meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov and they signed a joint declaration of elevating the bilateral relationship to the comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, which is a milestone for the China-Kyrgyzstan relation. Exchanges and cooperation in culture and tourism sectors have played a key role in promoting the development of the our relationship. China would like to work with Kyrgyzstan to implement the important consensus reached at the meeting between the two leaders and at the China-Central Asia Summit, open up new channels for exchanges and cooperation in this respect, and establish a closer China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future.

Ms.Aktilek Musaeva said that the meeting between the two leaders this May and the China-Central Asia Summit are of great significance to the two countries. Kyrgyzstan has paid great attention to strengthening exchanges and cooperation in cultural and tourism areas with China and enhanced mutual understanding between the two peoples especially youngsters, which have laid solid public foundation for the long-term development of the bilateral relationship.

During the meeting with Mr. Farhod Arziev, Hu Heping said that in recent years, the China-Uzbekistan relationship has seen great development under the strategic guidance of the two leaders. In May this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoye paid a state visit to China and attended the China-Central Asia Summit. President Xi Jinping had an important meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoye and they signed a joint statement, which pointed out the direction for a better

bilateral relationship. Exchanges and cooperation in culture and tourism sectors are an important part of the China-Uzbekistan relationship and gain support of the two leaders. Under the guidance of important consensus reached by the two leaders, China would like to work with Uzbekistan to enhance exchanges and cooperation in this respect and contribute to long-term stability of the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Mr. Farhod Arziev said that the China-Central Asia Summit was a great success, opening up a new chapter for the development of the China-Uzbekistan relationship. Now, the two sides have seen robust mutually beneficial cooperation and good opportunities in exchanges and cooperation in culture and tourism sectors. Uzbekistan speaks highly of China’s contribution to boosting bilateral cooperation, especially its effort to set the Year of Culture and Art during the Summit. Uzbekistan would like to work with China to tap into the potential in this respect and achieve more fruitful results of cooperation, elevating the bilateral relationship to anew level.
