The confidence in path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics is formed in the reform and opening-up. Since the 18^th CPC national congress, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as it’s core has been holding high the banner of reform and opening-up; bringing up a series of new ideology, ideas and statement and making a series of strategic planing. Historical achievements have been made, enabling Chinese people to be more firm in the confidence in path, theory, system and culture, so Chinese people in a new era are more confident.

Since the 18^th CPC national congress, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as it’s core and the combination of theory and practice has answered major problems of this era, including what kind of socialism with Chinese characteristics should China develop in this era and how to develop it, the answers of which forms Xi Jinping thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era. It’s a scientific guidance and action plan for developing socialism with Chinese characteristics and enhances Chinese people’s confidence in theory.

    We need to stick to self-improvement and enhance confidence in our system. The system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the fundamental guarantee for the orderly implement of the reform and opening-up. Xi Jinping said that “today, we face a major historical task which is to have a more mature and systematic socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era which is a more complete, stable and system with better function for the development of the cause of the party and the nation, the happiness and health of people as well as harmony and stability of the society.” Since the 18^th CPC congress, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as it’s core has set it’s final goal which are to improve the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and to push forward the modernization of the national governance system and ability. The CPC will promote the scientific systematic design and innovation and make better use of the advantage and potential of socialism with Chinese characteristics, increasing Chinese’s confidence in Chinese socialism with Chinese characteristic.

    We need to build a country with strong culture and improve cultural confidence. Xi Jinping said that “culture is the soul of a country and a nationality. Without high-level cultural confidence, there will be no cultural prosperity and the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.” Since the 18^th CPC national conference, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping, cultural system reform is improved and basic public culture service is more standard and more equal; cultural programs and industries are thriving; the outstanding traditional Chinese culture, revolutionary culture and socialist advanced culture are being promoted widely in China, so the socialist core value is accepted by all as well as the international cultural exchanges is more frequent on a daily basis, so the influence of Chinese culture is improved. The construction of a socialist country with strong culture is enhanced, enabling Chinese to have stronger confidence in culture.
