Mountain village gate with local feature, bell tower, colorful wall painting, phoenix leisure park... Stepping into the Yunmen village of Xiancun town in Zhongning county, the reporter was amazed by it’s feature of She nationality. Now, Yunmen is an administrative village for She people, and has been attracting visitors to there for sight-seeing.

    “The village is more and more beautiful thanks to reconstruction which attracts more visitors, so residents’ lives are better.” introduced by Lan Qingtong, director of the Yunmen village committee. As a poverty-stricken village in the past, Yunmen had had a weak industrial basis, a few income resources for villages and an insufficient long-term development momentum. In recent years, party committee and governments of every level had enhanced their support and appointed a first village secretaries. A tourism brand named “pristine life·village of She people in Yunmen” was shaped by constructing a characteristic and a beautiful rural area and by supporting characteristic agricultural industries. More than 5 million yuan was invested in a period to improve the infrastructure to highlight the cultural feature of the nationality, so the Yunmen village had a brand new appearance. Currently, the village had been doing the following: developing modes of cultural, industrial and tourism poverty alleviation; discovering cultural elements of the songs, medication, snack and clothes; expanding the planting scale of ponkan, juicy peach, honey pomelo and other fruits and building rural home-stay and other tourism facilities, so as to make tourism system more complete and the village more attracting.

    Culture of ethnic minorities is the reason of why Yunmen village is liked by more and more people, while that for Wubaiyang village of Qibu town was revolutionary culture.

    Wubaiyang village is home to dense mountain forests, beautiful village, lovely scenery as well as revolutionary history, attracting tourists. For a long time, the village had been improving the integration of culture and tourism; promoting the “revolutionary card” of all-for-one tourism; seizing opportunities of the construction of the beautiful rural area, accelerating the construction for basic facilities; lunching comprehensive construction of facade renovation of houses, rural road expansion, hardening and the paving of the road for mountain climbing, leading villagers to develop rural home-stay, so as to lift the residents out of poverty and have more income.

    More cultural features must be added to include the village into the overall plan of the all-for-one tourism. Zhouning county had been carrying out the design of all-for-one tourism. The local government had been finding characteristic culture and new content of the traditional culture as well as pushing forward “culture+tourism” and “culture+development”. A tourism cultural festival was held in 9 towns and counties. Besides, relating departments has been shaping characteristic cultural brands like “one town one industry” and “one country one brand”; nurturing characteristic cultural programs like beilu drama, moving iron branches, bench dragon and other cultural programs; building multiple cultural tourism sites, like Carp Creek, Hexi Creek Village and traditional houses in the middle part of Sichuan and accelerating the construction of multiple cultural village tourism sites including Hexi, Louping, Yunmen and Wubaiyang, so as to add a highlight to all-for-one tourism.
