Cui Jianghong, General Secretary of the Cultural Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World, Attended Nigeria’s Reception of the 61st Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

    On October 9th, 2021, Wu Jianghao, assistant minister of foreign affairs, and Cui Jianghong, general secretary of the Cultural Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World, attended the Nigeria’s Reception of the 61st Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the invitation of Mr. Baba Ahmad Jidda, Nigeria’s ambassador to China.

    Wu Jianghao congratulated Nigeria on it’s 61st anniversary of the independence of Nigeria and said that the past 50 years since the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between China and Nigeria had witnessed thriving bilateral relationship based on mutual-respect and mutual-trust. China was willing to work with Nigeria to find new ideas and expand cooperation, so as to push forward the strategic partnership between the two countries in all aspects.

    The ambassador said that Nigeria and China had a tradition of being friendly to each other. The cooperation between the two countries had been improved and China was already an important economic and trade partner of Nigeria. Nigeria hoped that the cooperation between the two countries would push forward the bilateral relationship and achieve new result with the opportunities offered by the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship.

    Cui Jianghong expressed her congratulation on the Independence Anniversary of Nigeria and was happy for the long-term development of the bilateral relationship.
