Before the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, prime minister of the State Council, met latest appointed ambassadors to China from 28 countries in the Great Hall of the People in the afternoon of September 30th.
Li Keqiang had a close communication with ambassadors, welcomed them to work in China and asked them to send his earnest greetings and best wishes to their countries and people. Li said that China was willing to work with every country to enhance political mutual trust, improve win-win cooperation, cope with pandemic challenge, promote economic recovery and create welfare for people around the world. He wished that ambassadors would contribute to bilateral relationship between China and the world by doting their jobs well. Chinese government would offer necessary support and convenience for ambassadors to carry out their duty.
Li Keqiang said that China always progress in reform and opening up. Since the start of this year, Chinese economy had been developing in a stable and promising tendency. He and his colleagues would do their work based on the new development stage; implement new development ideas; speed up the construction of a new development structure and push forward the high-level development. China would do well in routine pandemic prevention and control while overcoming difficulties and challenges. They would maintain continuous and stable macro-policies and enhance the effectiveness as well as do well in adjustment of small scope and in different periods and stabilize the reasonable market expectation. The government also needed to be sure that the industrial and supply chain were stable, so as to guarantee energy supply, people’s basic livelihood and that economy would function in a reasonable section. The government would also enhance the reform to push forward high-level development; create a legal, international and market-based business environment; follow the principle that Chinese and foreign enterprises were equal, support fair competition and welcome companies from every country to invest in China.
Ambassadors to China expressed their congratulations on the 72nd anniversary on the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the greetings form their heads of countries to China’s heads and people. They said that China’s development was remarkable in the world and the country played an important role in safeguarding international and regional peace and stability as well as in promoting development and prosperity. They believe that China’s future development would bring more opportunities to countries in the world and were willing to play a more positive role in supporting the friendly cooperation between China and other countries in the world.
