In the evening of September 2nd, Xi Jinping delivered a speech through video on Global Trade in Services Summit of 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Service.
Xi Jinping said that trade in services was an important component of international trade, a significant area of international economic and trade cooperation and a part of vital effect in the construction of a new development structure.
Xi Jinping said that China would improve the level of opening-up, implement the negative list system of cross-border trade in service and explore the way to build a national innovation and development demonstration area for trade in services; expand cooperation space, give more support for the development of national service industry of the common construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative and share China’s technological progress with the world; establish a set of complete standards in service industry, support the implement of rules for international high-level free trade agreement in Beijing and other places to build digital trade demonstration areas as well as continue to support the innovation and development of small and medium sized enterprises, improve the reform for National SME share transfer system, set up Beijing Stock Exchange to create a place to offer services to innovative SME.
Xi Jinping said that let us work together to fight against the pandemic, overcome current difficulties and use the “golden key” of peace, development and win-win cooperation to solve problems in world economy, international trade and investment, and to build a better future!
The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Service was held in Beijing from September 2nd to 7th with the theme of “Towards Digital Future and Service Driven Development”.
