On August 10th, Xi Jinping, president and the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, wrote back to the foreign young representatives of the project of “Global Young Leaders Dialogue”. He praised their visiting of various places in China and their gaining more knowledge of China as well as encouraged them to enhance communication and mutual learning and to contribute to the community for mankind with a shared future.
Xi Jinping wrote in the letter that he felt happy to know that they had opportunities to learn about China by visiting different places amid their life in this country.
Xi Jinping said that just like what you wrote in the letter, Chinese relied on wisdom and hard work to build an abundant and beautiful home on the land of the country, created colorful culture and realized their dream to lead a life of moderate prosperity. Happiness required hard work. China was a countries of vast land and a large population. If a country like this aimed for development, it must make plans according to it’s own national condition. It’s proven by the practice that China’s way to realize modernization had become wider and wider and the whole country would develop itself and contribute to the world.
He said that youth was always accompanied by dream. The CPC’s dream and original aspiration remained the same after a hundred-year of struggling, so the party was still young though it’s one hundred years old. When we embarked on a new journey, we would work hard continuously to realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation and to push the development of mankind. We welcomed more young people from the international society to come to China and hoped that young people from home and abroad would contribute to the construction of the community with a shared future for mankind by improving mutual understanding, developing friendship and growing together.
“Global Young Leaders Dialogue” was initiated by a think-tank institution in China. It was a mechanism for communication between young people from home and abroad. Recently, 36 foreign young people from 28 countries wrote to Xi Jinping. They all participated in the mechanism. They congratulated the CPC on it’s 100th anniversary, expressed their feeling after visiting different places in China and hoped to be the bridge to promote the communication between China and the world.
