On September 21st, with the theme of “new mission for tourism and a new healthy life”, the 15th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference was held in the Liupanshui City of Panzhou city. Sun Zhigang, secretary of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, announced the opening. The conference was hosted by Lu Yongzheng, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Provincial Committee and minister of Publicity Department of Provincial Party Committee, hosted the conference. Shen Yiqin, governor and deputy secretary of Guizhou Province, and Wang Xiaofeng, member of the leading party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, delivered speeches. Other attendees included Zhao Deming, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee of Guiyang City, Wu Qiang, vice governor and member of the Standing Committee of CPC Provincial Committee, Li Feiyue, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Provincial People's Congress, Hu Zhongxiong, vice governor, and Zhang Guangqi, vice chairman of the provincial CPPCC.
Shen Yiqin said that China had been speeding up the construction of a new development structure named “dual circulation”, we would follow the direction of the general secretary Xi Jinping to develop Guizhou Province’s tourism, to accelerate the tourism recovery in all aspects and to promote high-quality development. New chances were integrated with risks and a new situation would be generated from a changing one. Local governments would spend all effort to support the high-quality development of health tourism, rural tourism, cultural tourism, cultural tourism, smart tourism and satisfying tourism; improve the popularity of the brand called “Fascinating Guizhou-A Heaven of Myriad Mountains” and build a first-class mountain tourism destination and a first-class destination for health in vacation, so as to build a province with strong mountain tourism and a demonstration province of all-for-one tourism with scenic beauty and high quality.
Wang Xiaofeng said that currently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism followed the deployment of the central government to plan for and implement the routine control and prevention of the pandemic in tourism as well as recovery of work and production, so as to enable tourism to play a more important role in the “six stabilizing” and “six guarantee”. Just like before, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism would always support tourism practitioners in Guizhou Province to recover and innovate the whole industry as well as support Guizhou to conduct goods production, market governance and promotion of tourism. I believed that with the strong leadership of Guizhou People’s Government and Guizhou Provincial CPC Committee, it’s tourism would realize high-quality development and would fulfill the the plan to build a destination of international first-class mountain tourism and of domestic first-class health tourism.
In the opening ceremony held a promotion and development conference to attract business relating to culture and tourism to Guizhou Province. 75 projects were signed. The province was promoted by officials from Guizhou Culture and Tourism Department and Liupanshui City People’s Government.
