In the evening of December 21st, Sun Wei, deputy secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee, met some foreign guests and representatives of international organizations who attended 2020 “Belt and Road” Beautiful Countryside Forum.
On behalf of provincial government and party committee, Sui Wei extended his warm welcome to foreign guests and his gratitude for their support and care for the development of Gansu Province. He also briefed them on the condition of Gansu Province. According to him, for a long time, the province has been engaging in friendly relationship and productive cooperation with international organizations and countries along the “Belt and Road”, which led to achievements.
Foreign guests expressed their gratitude towards the warm welcome and thoughtful arrangement of provincial government and party committee, their admiration for achievements in culture, tourism, agricultural and rural industries in Gansu and their wish to enhance the cooperation and communication so as to contribute their wisdom and strength to the construction of “Belt and Road” Beautiful Countryside.
Joined the communication were Atthayut Srisamut, ambassador of Thailand to China, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, ambassador of Nepal to China, Moin ul Haque, ambassador of Pakistan to China and guests from Malaysia, Uruguay, South Africa, Hungary, Ukraine and other countries as well as United Nations World Food Programme, Secretariat of Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Center for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization of UN.
