In the afternoon of April 23^rd in Kunming City of Yunnan Province, Ruan Chengfa, secretary of Yunnan Province Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Yunnan Province, attends a working conference with 28 ambassadors to China.

    Ruan Chengfa expresses his warm welcome to ambassadors. He introduces the basic information of the province and of the development condition of the economy and society and brief them on his complementation of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thoughts, important speech relating to poverty alleviation and the spirit of important speeches delivered when he inspects Yunnan Province and carry out the plan of poverty alleviation and pay attention to it’s experience. He says that the achievement of poverty alleviation in Yunnan Province is an example of that in China, presenting the superiority of CPC leadership and socialism with Chinese characteristics, benefiting tons of millions of Chinese and also sharing it’s influence with the international society. I except further cooperation in poverty alleviation. Yunnan Province, as a place included in the “Belt and Road Initiative” and a connection point in Yangtze River economic belt, is looking forward to more cooperation, enhanced friendship and win-win development. Ruan Chengfa sends invitation to all ambassadors to attend the 15^th UN Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity.

    Ambassadors from Zambia, Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Venezuela and South Africa speak in the reception. Other ambassadors also communicate with Ruan Chengfa, which shows that they value this visiting. They also congratulate general secretary Xi Jinping and CPC on amazing achievements of Yunnan Province, especially poverty alleviation. They say that China’s experience of poverty alleviation in a developing country is worth learning. Through the visit, they feel the earth-shaking changes of the province and witness the implement of poverty alleviation and Xi Jinping ecological civilization ideology, so they hope to have more communication and cooperation with the province in terms of agriculture, economy, trade, tourism, culture, education, poverty alleviation, ecological and environmental protection and congratulate beforehand on the successful opening of the 15^th UN Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity.
