On September 20th, 2019, at the invitation of Malta's Ambassador to China John Aquilina, Qin Gang, vice minister of Foreign Affairs, and Cui Jianghong, secretary general of the Cultural Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the world, attended the National Day Reception of Malta held by the Embassy of Malta in China.
