Luo Shugang meets with Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism

On July 29th, Luo Shugang, minister of culture and tourism of China, met with Tserenbat Namsrai, minister of Nature and Tourism, and his delegation in Hezuo, the capital of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province. Tserenbat was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 4th Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo and 9th Dunhuang Tour-Silk Road International Tourism Festival on July 30th.

Luo Shugang said, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Ministry of Nature and Tourism of Mongolia will co-hold promotional events of culture and tourism to ceremoniously celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China-Mongolia diplomatic relations. The two sides carried out policy coordination on deepening bilateral and third-party cooperation in culture and tourism. Mongolia and China, like any other country along the Belt and Road, will benefit from such in-depth and pragmatic cooperation.
Tserenbat said that the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation is highly recognized in Mongolia. The Mongolian side will strengthen practical cooperation on tourism with China within the Belt and Road framework.
The heads of the General Office, and International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province were also present at the meeting.
