Minister Luo Shugang of Culture and Tourism meets with Deputy PM Altynai Omurbekova of Kyrgyzstan

On October 18th, Luo Shugang, secretary of the Party Group and minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, met with Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova. Both sides conducted extensive exchanges upon developing cultural relations.

Luo Shugang extended warm welcome to their visit. He said the relations between two sides attain fast, healthy and stable development. As mutual political trust is being strengthened, the earlier achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative have brought practical benefits to two peoples. Meanwhile, both held many “Cultural Day” activities in each other’s country, and sent delegations to support respective large cultural events, including multilateral activities within the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Besides, both sides commit joint efforts to archaeology and cultural heritage protection to increase the mutual understanding of culture. We wish to join hands with Kyrgyzstan to implement the important consensus reached by leaders of two sides about developing comprehensive strategic partnership, and advance practical cooperation so as to make more achievements.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke highly of efforts and contributions made by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in promoting the development of cultural relations. Great gratitude was extended to colorful cultural activities during the president’s visit in June. She stressed china has always been good neighbor and partner of Kyrgyzstan and they are willing to conduct in-depth cultural exchanges and cooperation to advance the strategic partnership of two sides.
