On March 31, the opening ceremony of the "Guangxi March March · Eight GUI Carnival" and the launch ceremony of the "Four Seasons Village Song" activity were held in Nanning, and the Guangxi folk Song Conference "Folk Song is like spring River water" was carried out simultaneously. 

The third of March in the lunar calendar is a traditional festival in China, especially in the multi-ethnic region of Guangxi. In recent years, Guangxi has continued to hold the "Guangxi March 3 · Eight-gui Carnival" activities to build cultural and tourism consumer brands. The opening ceremony includes three units: "Singing together · Blooming of National Unity", "Dancing · Friendship across mountains and seas", "Going Together · Pursuing Dreams and moving Forward to the future", and highlights such as song and dance performance, national fashion show, Southeast Asian style water market, and new tea market were presented.

It is reported that the 2025 "Four Seasons Village Song" activity launched at the opening ceremony was guided by the Public Service Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and sponsored by the China Cultural Center Association, with the theme of "thriving new life of rural culture and singing the main theme of rural revitalization", to point to face and launch the country to promote the vigorous development of mass singing activities.

At the event, artists from national art troupes such as China Opera and Dance Theatre, Central Opera House, Central Chinese National Orchestra, China Coal Mine Art Troupe and Central National Song and Dance Troupe, together with local Guangxi singers, performed and sang together with the "Village song" team from 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, presenting a colorful picture of ethnic music.

"Village song" refers to the mass singing activities widely carried out in rural areas of the country, including chorus, duet, solo and other forms. After the launch of the "Four Seasons Village Songs" activity in 2025, the "Village songs" activities with different characteristics will be carried out successively around different themes: In April, the Dong nationality songs will be sung in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province; In May, she sang western folk songs (" Flowers ") in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; In June, in Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in the form of "one village, one song, one story"; In July, held in Qinghai Province Xining City, Haidong City, five northwest provinces "flower" concert; In August, the demonstration of "Village Song" was held in Nanhua County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province; In September, the 10th Chinese Farmer Song Festival and "Four Seasons Village Song" concert was held in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, bringing together excellent programs of "village songs" from all over the country.

During the event, the National Public Culture Cloud, relying on the new media communication matrix, set up a special area for "village song" activities, and organized online concerts, live interaction and other activities.
