The Kuala Lumpur China Culture Center held the event of “Malaysia China Culture and Tourism Month·Fun with Nature” in the Zoo Negara Malaysia on September 26th. Many citizen were attracted to participate.
On the opening ceremony, artists from China and Malaysia performed traditional dance and music of both countries as well as Chinese martial arts and mask changing in Sichuan opera. Attendees included the deputy secretary general of Malaysia’s Tourism, Art and Culture Ministry and Tang Rui, minister from China’s embassy to Malaysia.
The “Malaysia China Culture and Tourism Month” would last till October 11th. This was one of the series of events of “2020 China Malaysia cultural and tourism year”. Besides, there would be other colorful cultural activities held in Kuala Lumpur China Cultural Center, including art performance, anti-pandemic painting exhibition, special event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, cultural tourism experience and so on.
Zhang Jiexin, director of Kuala Lumpur China Cultural Center, said that the goal of the cultural tourism month was to show healthy and happy life style; to pass on positive spirit; to increase the mutual understanding of people between the two countries and to let people to get close to nature in a way that was liked by people. The organizer would hold a cultural week named “A Moment Shared Together” to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and to admire the full moon with local residents.
