The Hubei theme day events of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services with the theme of “openness, sharing and initiation--a new journey of dual cycle of service in Hubei” was held in the China National Convention Center. The government and enterprises in Yichang city promoted multiple international tourism key projects and signed contracts in fields including exhibition and medical industries. The total relating investment amounted to 6 billion yuan.

    In August, tourism recovery in Yinchang accelerated. Zhong Zhengying, vice mayor of Yichang, said that he wished the platform offered by China International Fair for Trade in Services could help to promote the tourism resource in Yichang; to support tourism recovery; to expand the international horizon of participating enterprises; to develop trade in service and to push the domestic and international dual circulation.

    According to the estimation, in 2019, the number of people visiting Yichang was 475.3 thousand, increasing 1.2%, 368.7 thousand of which were foreign guests, increasing 4.4%.
