Beijing Xinhua News Agency on June 22^nd. On June 21^st, Xi Jinpign, China’s president and secretary general of the CPC central committee, wrote back to foreign students in Peking University. He encouraged them to have a deeper understanding of the real China, to introduce their ideas and experience to more people and to play a positive role in the people-to-people communication between different countries.

    Xi Jinping also said in the letter that you actively get to know China’s condition and CPC’s history, which was conducive to have a better knowledge of China’s past, present and future.

    Xi Jinping said that to know today’s China well, one must know the CPC. You mentioned that the CPC devoted to develop economy, eradicate poverty and help other countries to fight against the pandemic. The reason why the party did all of these was because the CPC sought happiness for all Chinese and struggle for progress for mankind.

    Xi Jinping also said that there was an Chinese saying meaning that “it is better to see for oneself rather than to hear for many times”. You were welcomed to visit and have a look in various places of China to have a deeper understanding of a real China, to introduce their ideas and experience to more people and to play a positive role in the people-to-people communication between different countries.

    Recently, 45 foreign student representatives in Peking University from 32 countries wrote to president Xi Jinping to express their wishes for the 100^th anniversary of the CPC. In the letter, they described their experience of studying and living in China as well as expressed their recognition of China’s achievement under the strong leadership of the CPC and of CPC’s development idea with people as the center.
