The Concert to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relationship Between China and Iran was Held in Beijing

    On June 25th, “the Concert to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relationship Between China and Iran” was held in the concert hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. It’s organized by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Iran’s Islamic cultural liaison organization. Attendees included Zhang Xu, vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Keshavarzzadeh, Iran’s ambassador to China, and Wang Ning, president of national Center for the Performing Arts.

    The concert was given by orchestra and conducted by Lu Jia. In the performance, audience admired “An Instance of Music of the Silk Road” created by Zhao Jiping, a Chinese composer, “My Mother Persia”, by Alexander Rahbari and the “Sixth Symphony” by Beethoven.

    The video of this concert and that of Iranian National Symphony Orchestra would be made into an online concert which would be released on online platform in the middle and the second half of September.

    Before the concert, vice minister Zhang Xu met Keshavarzzadeh, Iran’s ambassador to China. They exchanged ideas on communication and cooperation in culture and tourism between China and Iran.
