Hu Heping welcomed the delegation led by Phi Pha to China, highly valued the cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand, and appreciated the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand's long-standing important role in deepening the cultural and tourism relations between the two countries. He said that in November 2022, President Xi Jinping was invited to attend the 29th Informal APEC Leaders' Meeting and paid an official visit to Thailand, and the two countries announced the construction of a more stable, prosperous and sustainable China-Thailand community of destiny, and the China-Thailand relationship has entered a new era. The cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Thailand have a solid foundation and broad prospects. Earlier this year, China included Thailand in the list of the first batch of countries to resume outbound group tours on a pilot basis, fully reflecting the importance it attaches to China-Thailand tourism cooperation. China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism is willing to work with Thailand's Ministry of Tourism and Sports to continue to organize the "Joyful Spring Festival" activities, continue to strengthen tourism safety, create a safe and convenient travel environment for Chinese tourists to Thailand, continue to strengthen cooperation on international platforms, promote the construction of a China-Thailand community of destiny, and give a new connotation to "Chinese and Thais are families".

Phiapa thanked China for including Thailand in the list of the first batch of countries to resume outbound group tours for Chinese nationals on a pilot basis, and introduced the Thai side's active preparations for welcoming Chinese tourists. He said the Thai side is willing to work with the Chinese side to promote tourism cooperation and the resumption of people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, deepen cooperation in tourism supervision, maintain the order of the Thai-Chinese tourism market, and contribute to the promotion of the Thailand-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
