Strengthen the guidance and support for the stage art and artistic creation, implement a series of art creation projects under the new era, organize and carry out activities such as excellent stage art plays and fine art exhibitions. In the first 11 months, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism hosted 27 exhibitions and displays with 900000 live audiences and more than 1.8 billion Online viewers. Improving cultural economic policies, implementing the strategy of driving major cultural industry projects, actively fostering new modes of the industry, launching a series of consumption promotion activities, carrying out special rectificationon performance ticketing and scripted entertainment, the cultural industry has realized relatively rapid growth. In the first three quarters, the number of business performances nationwide reached 342000, box office revenue of 31.54 billion yuan, audiences attending the performances reached 111 million yuan, which increased 121.0%, 84.2% and 188.5% over the same period in 2019.

Du Jiang, the vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said that, in the first three quarters of this year, the domestic tourists reached 3.67 billion, realized a total tourism revenue of 3.7 trillion yuan, up 75% and 114% year on year.Residents’ tourism demands have been centrally released, and the number of traveling people increased substantially. In the next part, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will work hard in the fields of promoting culture and tourism consumption, raising people’s living quality and better meeting people’s real needs.
