From December 25th to 26th, the 3rd China-CEEC Arts Cooperation Forum was held online. Hu Heping, minister of culture and tourism, and vice prime minister and Serbian minister of culture and information delivered a speech through in the opening ceremony. Experts and artists form 17 countries, including China, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia and Greece, attended the forum.
Hu Heping said that under the China-CEEC cooperation structure, China and CEEC countries saw significant progress and achievement in cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation. Especially worth noticing was China-CEEC Arts Cooperation Forum which improved channels for art exchanges and cooperation; exhibited the latest results of art research and shared precious experience of art practice, offering strong support to each others’ art and literature prosperity and providing cultural nutrition to improve our cooperation. Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism was willing to work with CEEC countries to stick to principles of mutual consultation, shared construction, practical and balanced development, being opening and inclusive and innovation as well as to push forward China-CEEC countries cooperation and exchanges in culture and tourism to develop in a stable and practical way with further progress, offering a more solidified foundation among people for exchange and cooperation in other areas and making more contribution to promote civilizations and the construction of a human community with a shared future.
Serbian minister of culture and information said that against the background of the Covid-19, countries had a clearer understanding of the importance of mutual support and cooperation. Serbia would continue to engage in the exchanges under the China-CEEC national cooperation mechanism and to improve the cooperation form in art and cultural fields.
The theme of the forum was “we are in the future”. There were 4 sections, namely, “visual art”, “movie art”, “animation” and “video game art”. During the forum, experts, scholars and practitioners from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Ori Animation, University of Montenegro, Serbia Movie Center and so on. They discussed “redesigning of art environment against the background of digitalization”, “digital technology and movie art”, “animation and digital promotion strategy”, “designing and production of video games” and other leading topics to find new measures for the long-term and stable development of art cooperation between China-CEEC countries.
