On September 17^th, Ministry of Culture and Tourism held an education promotion conference of party history to exchange ideas on the process of party history, especially the the learning process of the important speech delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping on July 1^st and the practice of “doing concrete work for people”. The next step of the plan was to enhance the education of party history in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and to achieve effect. Hu Heping, minister and secretary of leading party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Attendees also included other members of leading party group of the ministry, including Wang Xudong, La Yifan, Du Jiang and Wang Xiaofeng.     It’s said in the conference that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism had been learning the spirit of important speeches delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping as well as the decisions and arrangement of the CPC Central Committee. Under the guidance of the 15^th party history education steering group of CPC Central Committee, the ministry promoted training, discussion and research; started the celebration to mark the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, organized regular group meetings; enhanced the practice named “doing concrete work for people”; started coordinated learning; made full use of the effect of the guidance team in the ministry and designed and promoted education of party history with high standard and of high quality. Party organizations of all level needed to stick to the task of “learning history to grasp principles, trustworthiness, thoughts, moral standards and to do real work” as well as to meet the overall requirement of “learning party history, grasping thoughts, doing concrete work and starting a new situation”. The ministry needed to meet requirements in daily life and pushed forward the education of party history in a smooth way.

    According to requirements of the conference, in the next stage, the ministry should follow the arrangement of the CPC Central Committee to maintain the momentum and work since the start of the education to make plans attentively and implement in detail to lead party cadres to have a clear understanding of the knowledge and behave according to what they had learned. They needed to have self-motivation in thoughts, politics and behavior, so as to enhance party history education and to have more achievement. The priority was to learn the spirit of the speech delivered by Xi Jinping on July 1^st and pushed forward the study and discussion. Party members should behave according to what they had learned through party history and guarantee there would be effect of the event named “doing concrete work for people”. The improvement of themed regular organization meetings should be an important task to build a strong basic-level party organization. The education of party history should be combined with a promotion educations for people named “always follow the CPC” and “the four history”, so they could be improved in a coordinated way. Party history education needed to be combined with the comprehensive governance of cultural and entertainment industries to set up examples which were cultural and art practitioners who were famous for both talents and morality; to solve problems with more effort in cultural and entertainment fields and to promote orderly and healthy development in cultural and entertainment industries.

    On the conference, 7 people from departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, branch departments and departments responsible for social organizations reported the process of their departments’ party history education. Attendees of the conference were people responsible for party and politics in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, people in charge of the discipline inspection and supervision group in the ministry, people responsible for party and political affairs in branch departments, heads of the guidance team of the party history education in the ministry and members of the leading group office.
