From 27th to 29th, July, 2021 China International Emergency Rescue Expo was held in the Tanyuan city of Shanxi province. 56 envoys from 20 countries, including Vietnam and United Arab Emirates attended the expo. Lan Foan, governor and deputy secretary of the provincial CPC committee of the Shanxi province, met the delegation team. He Tiancai, vice governor, accompanied the meeting and Wu Shaozhong, director of provincial foreign affairs office also participated in the meeting. The visit of Vietnam’s and United Arab Emirates’ ambassadors was accompanied by Qin Jie, deputy director of provincial foreign affairs office, and Han Tanfan, secondary inspector.
The expo centered around the working direction of “emergency response, safety and disaster reduction”; gathered advantageous resources of emergency industry and provided a platform for practitioners to exchange ideas on management and to due with urgent problems.
During the visit to Shanxi Province, the delegation went to the provincial museum and the digital exhibition hall of the cultural and tourism group to visit the exhibition hall of pictures of the 100-year history of the CPC. Envoys said that the visit enabled them to have a better understanding of Shanxi’s profound culture, of the achievement of Shanxi province’s people led by the CPC and of their resolution to stick to reform and opening up. They also said that they were more confident to invest in China. When back to their offices, they would do better in connecting the countries and contribute more to promote win-win cooperation between the two nations.
