Recently, in the agaric production base of Xuanyang Farmers’ Professional Cooperative in Xiachengzi County, people could see rows of hanging fungus bags in greenhouses. On some of them, there were already small “black ears” which was a prominent contrast when compared to white bags. Greenhouses were decorated with white and black, just like farmers’ sketches.

The Xuanyang Farmers’ Professional Cooperative in Xiachengzi County of Muling City was established on November 25th of the 2011. It registered a trade mark named Xuanyang Lazi. Now, farmers from 380 households joined agaric production, each of whom had an annual income of more than 100 thousand yuan, largely promoted the development of the agaric industry of this village.

There were two bases for edible fungus industries in the Xuanyang Village, namely, Xuanyang Village North Land and North River Land. They occupied an area of about 3000 hectors. The bases had accesses to water supply, electricity and transportation. The industrial mode was composed of “village+cooperative+household+bases”. There were 8 large fungus bag factory with an average annual production of 4 million bags each. 400 of the 500 households engaged in fungus production, thanks to which more than 5000 rural residents in near-by area found jobs and income per capita increased 20000 yuan. The cooperative was open to new ideas to lead more people in near-by areas to step on the way of win-win cooperation through “live commerce”.
