On March 12^th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism holds a conference to study the spirit of the two sessions of 2021. During the conference, it’s stressed that we need to learn the spirit of the two sessions and that of the important speeches delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping; complement decisions and arrangements that relate to cultural construction and tourism development and that are made in the conference and to make new achievements in cultural and tourism industries. Hu Heping, the cultural and tourism minister, attends and delivers a speech. Other attendees are members of leading party group, including Li Qun, Liu Yuzhu, Chi Yaoyun, Zhang Xu, Wang Xudong, Du Jiang and Wang Xiaofeng.

    Hu Heping says that this year’s two sessions conferences are hold at an important period when one “Centenary Goals” need to be realized and another one starts and when the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country is in an initial stage. The conference speaks highly of the great achievement made by China and the CPC and expresses people’s sincere support to the general secretary Xi Jinping and the party central committee with Xi Jinping as it’s core. The conference presents attitudes to complement the two “Two Upholds”; promote high-quality development which is the theme and the main line; to see people as core and to promote law-based governance in all aspects. The main spirit of the two sessions is presented in the general secretary Xin Jinping’s important speeches, six reports including the government work report, the plan for the “14^th Five Year” plan, Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, the bill of amendment of NPC’s organization law and rules of procedure and the decision to perfect the electoral system of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

    Hu Heping stresses that the government needs to see the study of the spirit of important speeches delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping as an important political task. The authority also needs to continuously improve it’s political judgement, political understanding and political executive ability to be sure that the spirit of important speeches delivered by the general secretary Xi Jinping will be carried out in cultural and tourism industries. We need to do well in the promotion of the spirit of the two sessions, to improve political stance, to plan with care so as to start a fashion of study and the arrangement and promotion should be combined with the education of party history. The government should complement the “14^th Five Year” plan and Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035; come up with measures and plans; better divide work and responsibilities; guarantee the complementation of all work in tourism and cultural industry; carry out demands in the government’s work report; plan for and promote cultural and tourism work within the overall work of the CPC and China, show new image in the construction of a new development structure, complement NPC’s suggestion and CPPCC’s proposal; establish and complete the work of standing book, pay attention to transformation and application and respect and support delegates to carry out their responsibilities according to laws.

Attendees are stuff members from bureaus and departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, department of discipline inspection and supervision team in the ministry and subordinate departments.
