On June 8th, 2021 “Beautiful China·Xindiyan” Online Promotion and Development Conference starts in Chongqing. It’s held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Those having gave speeches via video are Zhang Xu, the vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Qiu Tenghua, the director general of Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and Li Weinong, director of Office of the Secretary for Economy and Finance.
Zhang Xu, the vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, says in his speech that in 2020, against the backdrop of spreading COVID-19, “Beautiful China·Xindiyan”, an promotion activity, was first held online, which boosted the cohesion of the mainland of China, Hang Kong and Macow. In this year, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism holds “Beautiful China·Xindiyan” again as an online promotion and development activity which we are sure can accumulate more potential for the recovery and development of tourism as well as the tourism between the mainland of China and Hang Kong and Macow after the pandemic. The ministry always follows the measures established by the Central Government to benefit Hong Kong and Macow. We support measures to maintain and improve competitive advantages of Hang Kong and Macow as well as to construct Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to encourage continuously deepening cooperation between the mainland of China and Hang Kong and Macow. We believe under the support of the Central Government and the effort of Hong Kong SAR Government and Macow SAR Government, the tourism in those two special administrative regions will be full of energy and glory again.
Qiu Tenghua, the director general of Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, says in his speeches that 2020 was a tough year for global tourism, but some countries were out of the difficulties by relying on determined minds. The prevention and control of the pandemic have been promising and recently, the pandemic of Hong Kong has been brought under control. In the future, Hong Kong SAR Government will deepen the tourism cooperation with the mainland of China. It’s expect that cross-border trips will be resumed, citizens in Hong Kong can start their trips to see beautiful landscape of their motherland and to have a better understanding of the history and culture of our motherland.
Li Weinong, director of Office of the Secretary for Economy and Finance, says in his speech that the online promotion and development conference introduces abundant tourism resource of the mainland of China to Hang Kong and Macao, providing driving force to communication and cooperation between the mainland of China as well as Hong Kong and Macow. Macow is one of the central city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will make plans according to the development location of “a center, a platform and a foundation” and connect to the nation’s “14th Five Year Plan” to be better integrated into the national development. I believe under the support of the Central Government, the cooperation prospect of tourism in the mainland of China as well as Hong Kong and Macow will influence more fields to deeper levels.

In the promotion and development, Shanghai’s Bureau of Culture and Tourism introduces the advantageous location, delicate Shanghai-style culture and the integration of eastern and western culture. Main focuses are ecological tourism represented by China Flower Expo, metropolis tourism represented by Huangpu River tour, the trip of Shanghai-style culture represented by delicious food and coffee and Xincheng atmosphere known for it’s vitality and innovation, all of which present Shanghai’s characteristics of “openness, innovation and inclusiveness”.
The promotion and development of Department of Culture and Tourism of Anhui Province is centred on the theme of “Beautiful Anhui·Happy Wanjiang River”. Following the systems of three famous mountains (Mount Huang, Jiuhua Mountain and Tianzhu Mountain), three river system (Yangtze River, Huaihe River and Xinan River) and three culture (the culture shaped by Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi, Tongcheng Culture and Huizhou culture), the department shows the city along the Yuanjiang River stretching 400 kilometers.
