On January 13th, Austrian Commercial Counsellor Dr. Martin Glatz and his delegation made a tour to Hilti sophisticated manufacturing base in Jinan New Area, Hebei province (Hilti is a Liechtenstein multinational company that provides cutting-edge technologies, software, products and services for the construction industry). Zhang Cai, a standing member and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Handan Municipal Committee, met with them.
Dr. Martin Glatz and his delegation visited the Handan Planning Hall, the Handan Museum, the Handan Vocational Education Park and the Hilti sophisticated manufacturing base.
Dr. Martin Glatz spoke highly of Handan’s achievements in recent years. He said that Austria has attached great importance to the cooperation with China in various fields especially in equipment manufacturing. As the recent years have seen China open itself ever wider to the world, more Austrian companies invest in China to create more benefits for two peoples. It is hoped that both sides could deepen cooperation by drawing upon their own advantages to build an influential and competitive industrial base for construction. Meanwhile, he formally invited local officials to visit Austria.
