Ethiopian Ambassador to China Teshome Toga visits the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism

On January 8th, 2020, Zhang Xu, vice minister of Culture and Tourism, met with Ethiopian Ambassador to China Teshome Toga in Beijing. Both sides had extensive exchanges on enhancing cultural and tourism cooperation between China and Ethiopia. 
Zhang Xu expressed that China-Ethiopia friendship has been further cemented as they are all-weather brothers and partners. In recent years, the two countries have seen frequent exchanges and fruitful results in culture, as well as a good momentum in tourism cooperation. It is hoped that both sides could further enhance mutual understanding, strengthen cooperation and deepen friendship so as to benefit two peoples.
Teshome Toga appreciated the long-term support of the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism in cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation between two sides. He noted that both sides have developed friendly ties as two ancient civilizations. The close cooperation not only will benefit the two sides, but also is of great significance to regional development and the construction of a community with a shared future for all-mankind. Therefore, the embassy hopes to work jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to maintain and reinforce bilateral relations.
Besides, they also exchanged views on the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Ethiopia in 2020.
