On October 26th, Luo Shugang, Chinese minister of Culture and Tourism, met with Abdoul Karim Sango, Burkina Fasco’s minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism. Both sides jointly signed the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of Burkina Faso.
Luo Shugang said that China and Burkina Faso have seen remarkable results in various fields including culture since they resumed diplomatic relations. Meanwhile, Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism will strengthen cooperation with Burkina Faso Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism to implement the agreement with the guidance of the spirit of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, advance cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation and benefit two peoples.
Sango appreciated the invitation and reception of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is hoped that both sides will enhance communication, mutual understanding and cooperation so as to push forward the development of bilateral ties.
