On November 29th in Beijing, Zhang Xu, vice culture and tourism minister, and Moin Ul Haque, Pakistan ambassador to China, sighed “The Memorandum on the Promotion of Tourism Exchange and Cooperation Between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Coordination Ministry of Province and Nation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan” which covered tourism-related policy, information sharing, personnel training and the safeguard of tourism security. It’s an important result of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
Before the signing ceremony, the two parties engaged in a short meeting. Zhang Xu said that this year was the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries. Heads of both countries agreed to push forward the practical cooperation in all fields. Multiple cultural and tourism celebrations were held in this year. It’s expected that the signing of the memorandum, the collaboration would be enhanced, so as to improve people-to-people cooperation and to promote people-to-people connection.
Moin Ul Haque said that Pakistan was willing to work with China. It would see the memorandum as an opportunity to learn the advanced experience of Chinese tourism, so as to promote the practical cooperation between the two countries.
