Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region held a culture and tourism investment promotion seminar themed on “Expanse Prairie of Xilingol League”, publicizing the approaching China’s May Day holiday (also known as the Golden Week ) and the China Tourism Day on May 19. Unique tourism resources of Xilingol League were introduced and the“enjoying travelling across Xilingol”product line was rolled out on the seminar. Xilingol League signed “Travel Exchanges for Thousands of People ” and “Products Selling Exchanges” strategic agreements with multiple enterprises from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. The contracts of ten tourist investment promotion projects with a total worth of more than 400 million yuan were signed.
Xilingol League introduced rich cultural and tourism resources locally by giving details on“Enjoying Travelling Across Xilingol”products which covered 6 topics, namely “Ecology of the Prairie”, “Leisure vacation”, “Parent-child Study,” “Cross-country Traverse”, “Ecological Healing and Health” and “Fashionable Photo Tour”, as well as 5 series including “Leisure Xilingol”, “Passionate Xilingol”, “Meeting Xilingol”, “Beautiful Xilingol” and “Fun Xilingol”. Tourists can choose among different tour groups such as customized groups, one-day-tour groups, private groups, boutique small groups and groups of fragmented standardized products. Routes of different levels(such as middle- and high-end routes) and seasons were also up for sale.
During the seminar, Lu Yimei, CEO of Government Cooperation Department of Ctrip North China District, shared the company’s schemes and practices on building a super prairie tourist destination before introducing data insights for domestic tour and how culture and tourism industry drive the growth of the destination. Lu gave details on three strategies of “Plan A on 2023 Tourism Revitalization”. First, the strategy of “reconstructing industrial ecology” aims to establish 10 incubation centers for culture and tourism industry. Second, the strategy of “reshaping brand values” should be applied by local tour guides to create diversified home-felt travelling experiences in destinations. Third, promotion of four-season travels attracting trillions of people will boost tourist consumption worth of more than a trillion yuan, thus achieving the strategy of “reviving consumers’ confidence”. The third strategy was illustrated by multiple cases of Ctrip.
The “Travel Exchanges for Thousands of People ” and “Products Selling Exchanges” strategic agreements signed by Xilingol League and enterprises from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will attract a million tourists to travel in Xilingol League and sell more than ten million tourism commodities this year. Ten tourist investment projects signed on the seminar attracted a total investment of 416 million yuan. Xilingol League was intended to hold culture and tourism promotion seminars in key cities like Hangzhou, which was estimated to attract more than 5 million tourists annually. In addition, the League will sign more contracts on culture and tourism projects with other enterprises with a projected investment worth of 2 billion yuan.
According to sources, Xilingol League has been listed as a permanent venue for the Naadam Festival in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region where the 33th Naadam Festival promotion conference of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will be held with the help of the League. A range of fantastic activities will enable the region to witness 20 million visit in 2023, which may surpass that of 2019. The projections for revenues and propaganda exposure rates are over 50 billion yuan and over 1 billion yuan respectively, which will further enhance the reputation and influence of the “Expanse Prairie of Xilingol League”.
