“A place where dreams starts•Shangri-La of the world-introducing China • Shangri-La tourism products” was co-hosted in Beijing by CPC Shangri-La Municipal Committee, Shangri-La Municipal Government as well as Culture Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World on April 15, 2015. There were many leaders attending this activity, including those who come from the General Office of the Central Committee, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Tourism Administration, State Council Information Office, were some distinguished ambassadors to China from 80 countries such as US, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, France and Peru, included more than 40 mainstream media both at home and abroad such as People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Tourism News, China Daily, China Culture Daily, ABC, Itar-Tass, and lots of 5A travel agencies, including China Comfort Travel Headquarter, Zhongxin International Travel Service, Springtour International Agency and Huayuan International Travel Co. Ltd, and etc.

In the event, H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Capuay Chávez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to China, awarded Shangri-La “China's most beautiful ecological tourism resort elected by the embassies to China across the world”, which further promoted the international influence and the shaping of value of the grand of Shangri-La.

Culture Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World and Shangri-La City made a strategic cooperation to introduce and promote the city style and features, human landscape, natural scenery, national culture and city’s development accomplishments etc. to the world in a stereoscopic way comprehensively through deep cooperation. Culture Exchange Activities of Presenting China to the World provides systemic service for the economic development, culture and tourism development, publicity of the overall image, improving the city influence and attracting businesses and investments to draw entrepreneurs and friends both at home and abroad to invest, travel, go sightseeing and take a holiday in Shangri-La to improve rapidly the influence and popularity of Shangri-La in the international stage. 

Culture Exchange organization of Presenting China to the World organized again foreign ambassadors stepping into Shangri-La, “A place where dreams starts•Shangri-La of the world”. With the organization of Culture Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World, these ambassadors attended Horse Racing in May and Shangri-La City Tourism Fair, toured in the Pudacuo National Park, Songzanlin Lamasery and Old Town of Dukezong, visited Shangri-La City Industrial Park and surveyed the local companies to cooperate with the embassies in China in economy, agriculture, tourism, education and culture and promote the developments of Shangri-La at all respects.

A letter of intent of Urubamba, a city of Peru, will being a sister city of Shangri-La has been signed during this event. The cooperation framework will be reached on agriculture, education and tourism through surveying, exchange, understanding and communication between the two cities. The relationship of sister cities will be a key component in the people-to people exchanges of the joint statement between two governments when Xi Jinping, the President of China, pays a state visit to the republic of Peru in 2016.

Themed with“the most beautiful China”in activities, Culture Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World, inviting ambassadors to China to step into Chinese cities deeply, makes various exchanges in different forms full of innovation to build a pragmatic and internationally influential platform and bridge across the world between Chinese cities and embassies in China and offers suggestions and solutions to promote economic development, culture and tourism development, publicity of the overall image, the city influence and attract businesses and investments for Chinese cities. At the same time, Culture Exchange Organization of Presenting China to the World also invites leaders from domestic enterprises and local cities of China to visit other cities in the rest of the world with developed economy, culture, tourism and innovation and carries out substantial exchanges in the fields of industry and commerce to study the innovative economic development pattern, advanced cultural development ideas and scientific urban construction plan in foreign countries.
