The Yangtze River is an important ecological security barrier in China, and it is of great significance to fight the battle for the protection and restoration of the Yangtze River to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization, promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and create a new development pattern of services. In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping, on the 25th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized the representatives of 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities along the Yangtze River trunk line of cultural and tourism departments, education experts, as well as representatives from cultural and tourism enterprises, study bases, travel agencies, schools and other units, primary and secondary school students more than 300 people gathered in Wuhan, Hubei province, which also marks the guarding of the beautiful Yangtze River theme of the official launch of the winter study tours.

Culture is born from water, and its veins are connected by water. The origin of Chinese civilization is like a starry sky, and the Yangtze River is undoubtedly one of the brightest and most dazzling belts of stars. A number of archaeological sites in the Yangtze River Basin have appeared in the world surprisingly, fully proving China's millions of years of human history, 10,000 years of cultural history, and more than 5,000 years of civilization history. Hubei is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, is the province with the longest main stream of the Yangtze River, it occupies an excellent "Tianyuan" central location, with the convenience of the nine provinces, encompassing the convergence of north, south, east and west, convenient for tourists from all over the country to come to enjoy and visit; Hubei's civilization process has a long history, the Jingchu land reveals the richness of the magnificent cultural heritage, visitors will encounter a thousand natural wonders and splendid history and culture.  During the Lunar New Year, 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the Yangtze River Basin will set up the Yangtze River Basin Study Tourism Alliance in Wuhan, Hubei Province, under the theme of "Guarding the Beautiful Yangtze River and Constructing its Cultural Veins".

Understand the Yangtze River to know more about China. The leaders of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the heads of the departments of culture and tourism of 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities will jointly unveil the plaque for the Yangtze River Basin Study Tourism Alliance, and the 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities will take out all of the high-quality Yangtze River study resources and release a series of beneficiary policies for winter study tourism. Each region will use the New Year garden party as a carrier, organize study teams, and guide students to gain an in-depth understanding of the natural and humanistic landscapes of the Yangtze River Basin through a variety of activities from the aspects of early civilization, non-genetic inheritance, poetic culture, endemic species, traditional folklore, etc., to embrace the beauty of the Yangtze River in all aspects, plant seeds of guarding the beautiful Yangtze River and inheriting the millennium-long cultural lineage, and inspire them to cherish nature and protect the environment, so that they can jointly contribute a beautiful China.

Winter vacation is a good time for students to relax and get in touch with nature. Wuhan City Park Museum of Yangtze River Civilization will set up the archeological experience of cultural lineage exploration, "Poetic Rhythm of the Yangtze River" literature study, the Yangtze River Basin Folklore Course, "Blue Wave of the Yangtze River" environmental protection study, "Guardian of the Yangtze River" live script games and other thematic booths. Each booth is set up with interesting and diversified activities, and students can participate in the activities by drawing lots to form teams, win small gifts for the Chinese New Year, perceive the culture of the Yangtze River Basin in the atmosphere of welcoming the Chinese New Year, strengthen cultural self-confidence, and contribute to the cultural inheritance. The instructors can also lead students to learn about the protection of the Yangtze River, take the ecological restoration of the water environment and wetlands as an entry point, complete scientific experiments, explore the scientific principles contained in the ecological tank, guide students to appreciate the difficulty of ecological restoration, and establish the awareness of cherishing and caring for the Yangtze River's water resources.
